FIA issues radio clampdown, track limits advice

Mercedes AMG Petronas The FIA has issued a further clampdown on radio communication ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix, with drivers now forced to pit if they are informed of a serious problem. Mercedes' controversial message to Nico Rosberg during the closing stages of the British Grand Prix enabled him to retain second spot, ahead of Max Verstappen. Stewards later deemed that Mercedes had breached the regulations and handed him a 10-second penalty, demoting him to third position. Prior to the Hungarian Grand Prix, a further directive was issued, meaning drivers will have to enter the pit lane in order to be provided with advice on how to solve potential problems.
