McLaren confirm they will build their own wind tunnel in Woking

McLaren team principal Andreas Seidl has confirmed the team will build its own wind tunnel at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking over the next two years, with the team having used Toyota's wind tunnel in Germany for the past decade. The team has had a very good Saturday in France, with Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz qualifying in fifth and sixth respectively, with P5 being the best grid position for a McLaren car since Austria 2016, when Jenson Button put his car on P3 at a soaking wet Red Bull Ring.
