Alex Albon has been promoted to the senior Red Bull team Alex Albon has been confirmed as Max Verstappen's team-mate at the senior Red Bull team with Pierre Gasly set to be relegated to Toro Rosso from the Belgian Grand Prix onwards. A disappointing start to the season for Gasly has seen the Frenchman comprehensively beaten by Verstappen, who has scored nearly three times as many points as his team-mate. Albon by contrast, in his debut season of Formula 1, has proved himself a promising prospect for the future.
