VIDEO: Monza Q3 farce in full

Qualifying for the Italian Grand Prix descended into farce at the end of Q3 as most of the remaining field failed to reach the chequered flag in time to start a timed lap. Charles Leclerc ended up taking pole in bizarre circumstances and had to fight off accusatory glances from both Lewis Hamilton and his team-mate Sebastian Vettel afterwards. Article continues under video With the slipstream proving so important for lap time at Monza, none of the nine remaining Q3 competitors were willing to be the lead driver in the train, leading to a ridiculous scene of them all circling Monza at half-seed within a few dozen metres of each other.
