Debate | Bottas can show more at Alfa Romeo than at Mercedes

The big word is finally out: Valtteri Bottas has to make way at Mercedes and will drive at Alfa Romeo in 2022. Does this mean the beginning of the end of his Formula 1 career, or does the switch offer him opportunities to show more of himself? Understandably the Finn would have preferred it to be otherwise, but it was bound to happen: He has to make room for the young talent George Russell. Mercedes was a safe haven for him because you can't do better than a dominant Formula 1 team.
