Leclerc set to extend deal with Ferrari until 2026

According to journalist Leo Turrini, Charles Leclerc will reaffirm his commitment to Ferrari by signing a new contract until 2026. Leclerc, a graduate of the Ferrari Driver Academy, has become a prized asset for the team since joining back in 2019 and since then has played a key role in the Scuderia's recovery up the grid. Although 2021 has been a vast improvement upon 2020, Ferrari are yet to return to being a consistent threat for race wins – something they hope will be achievable by 2022.
