Paul Monaghan extends his contract with Red Bull

Chief Engineer Paul Monaghan has extended his contract with reigning world champion team Red Bull, Autosport has reported after the opening day for the Monaco Grand Prix. Following the controversy around team boss Christian Horner over the winter, it was suggested that several key members of the technical department of Red Bull might depart from the Milton Keynes-based outfit in the coming months. While the initial reports did not realize, Red Bull endured a huge blow on the 1st of May when Chief Technical Officer Adrian Newey announced his departure from Milton Keynes.
