Rubens Barrichello says he would like to race an Australian 'V8 Supercar' at the famous Bathurst endurance event.
The Brazilian, who watched countryman and friend Max Wilson from the pits of the 'Adelaide 500' last weekend, also attended the touring car race at Bathurst late last year and was spotted checking out the tin-top racers in the Supercar pits at Albert Park.
33-year-old Rubens admitted that the carmaker clash - between his Honda F1 team and Supercars' Ford and Holden - might be a problem.
'I'll have to talk to my team to see if they would let me (do it),' he admitted in Melbourne.
Barrichello added: 'And I would need a lot of testing, because even people who have done well in (international) touring cars did not do so well in V8s.'
