Audi beats rivals to the punch with rapid ADUO engine upgrade

While rival manufacturers were still digesting the FIA’s first assessment under the sport’s Additional Development and Upgrade Opportunities (ADUO) system, Audi had already arrived in Barcelona with an upgraded engine package ready to go, according to a report from Motorsport.com. The speed of the move raised eyebrows throughout the paddock. More importantly, it suggested something even more significant: Audi appeared to have anticipated the outcome of the FIA’s evaluation process well...
