Norris handed heavy grid penalty for Belgian GP

Lando Norris' uphill battle to revive his Formula 1 title challenge has become even steeper after McLaren confirmed the reigning world champion will start this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix with a 10-place grid penalty. The sanction comes after McLaren elected to fit a fourth power electronics unit to Norris' car at Spa-Francorchamps, taking him beyond the three-component allocation permitted under the 2026 regulations.
