Towriss opens up on Lowdon exit: ‘It wasn’t a mutual decision’

Cadillac’s first Formula 1 season has barely reached the halfway mark, yet the American outfit has already made its most significant move of the year – and the man who signed off on it has now made clear that the split with Graeme Lowdon was anything but a shared conclusion. The shock announcement that Lowdon had been replaced by former Alpine executive director Marcin Budkowski landed in the middle of Formula 1’s summer shutdown, with Cadillac still rooted to the bottom of the constructors’ championship and yet to score a point in its debut campaign.
