F1: Monaco appeal decision could take weeks
Having heard the appeals from McLaren and Red Bull over the Monaco result, it is understood that a decision will not be reached for several weeks. The two teams have appealed the decision to reinstate Pierre Gasly's third place at the event, a decision which impacted the results of Isack Hadjar, who dropped to fourth as a result, and Oscar Piastri, who dropped from fourth to fifth. The Monaco stewards had imposed two 5-second time penalties on Gasly for pit-lane speeding during the race, for recorded speeds of 60.1 km/h and 60.4 km/h respectively.
