Hamilton offers explanation for Ferrari's tough qualifying session at Monza
Lewis Hamilton was left frustrated by a difficult qualifying session for Ferrari at its home Italian Grand Prix, admitting the team failed to maximise its potential at Monza. Ferrari had entered its home weekend with genuine hopes of challenging Mercedes after showing strong pace throughout practice. The team also introduced an upgraded power unit for the Italian Grand Prix, using its second and final allocated development token for the season.
