F1: Verstappen 'seriously considered' quitting F1
Max Verstappen says that he 'seriously considered' quitting F1 over the new regulations. A long-time critic of the planned formula, even before a car had physically taken to the track, it is only in recent weeks that the four-time world champion has eased off. During pre-season testing he described the cars as 'Formula E on steroids', and once the season got underway, and fans could see the truth for themselves, he continued to criticise the new formula, joined by almost all his colleagues bar the Mercedes and Ferrari drivers.
