Antonelli struggling to understand ‘unpredictable’ W17 package

Kimi Antonelli has admitted he is struggling to make sense of Mercedes’ latest W17 upgrade in Singapore, raising fresh concerns about the championship leader’s prospects after a disappointing seventh place in Friday’s Sprint Qualifying. The Italian arrived at Marina Bay with high hopes, but his first day of running has instead exposed a worrying lack of confidence in a car he describes as unpredictable and difficult to extract performance from.
