The Circuit of the Americas in Austin stands as one of the most technically demanding layouts on the Formula 1 calendar. Blending high-speed sweeps, low-speed technical sequences, and dramatic elevation changes across its 5.513-kilometer, 20-corner expanse, COTA forces teams into a delicate medium-high downforce compromise. Engineers must bolt on enough wing to carry speed through the high-load sweeps of Turns 3 through 6, while keeping drag low enough to defend down the long, uphill straight heading into Turn 11.
