Willem Toet joins Sauber's as head of aerodynamics
Willem Toet is returning to the Sauber F1 Team as head of aerodynamics. The 59-year-old Dutchman had already occupied this post from 2006 to 2009 inclusive, but during the sweeping staff cuts that followed BMW’s withdrawal from Formula 1, he had voluntarily vacated his position. Seamus Mullarkey (46), who took over as head of the aerodynamics department at Hinwil, welcomes Toet’s return. The British engineer favours more technical and less management-oriented assignments and will be in charge of aerodynamic research. The reshuffle takes effect from 14th November 2011.
