Rosberg: 'Megaphone' exhaust didn't change anything

– Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg says that alterations to the exhaust of the W05 Hybrid in a bid to increase the noise levels were not successful during the in-season test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Rosberg was second quickest but trialled a 'megaphone' exhaust during the first part of the morning session. Trackside observers, including GPUpdate.net, did not notice any audible increase in noise levels and Rosberg echoed such thoughts. "Unfortunately it didn't change anything, so we need to keep pushing – we want to as a team make the sport louder and to keep pushing and to try another solution as this was not the right solution," he said.
