Rob Smedley has heaped praise on Valtteri Bottas following his display at the British GP, describing his performance as "exceptional". With both Bottas and team-mate Felipe Massa knocked out in Q1 on the Saturday, Williams were facing an uphill battle on race day at Silverstone, but they were in for a big surprise.
