Van der Garde unhurt following Silverstone testing crash

Sauber’s Giedo van der Garde remains in the dark over the cause of his late crash, which curtailed the second day of the post-British Grand Prix test. Van der Garde, who ended the day fourth fastest, had been on his last run of the session when he crashed heavily at Copse, damaging the barrier and bringing testing to a premature end, with 20 minutes still to run on the clock.
