Hamilton pleased with recovery drive

Mercedes AMG Petronas Lewis Hamilton said he was pleased with his drive at the German Grand Prix after he raced from 20th place into a podium position. Hamilton was forced to start from 20th after his Mercedes team had to change his gearbox as a result of his brake failure induced accident during qualifying. Hamilton nonetheless raced through the field and came home in third place, to limit the damage to his title hopes as Nico Rosberg eased to his fourth win of the year. "I came from last, to get on the podium is quite an achievement so perhaps [glass] half full," said Hamilton of his race.
