Brembo 'calm' despite failure

Brake supplier Brembo have launched an investigation into the brake disc failure that put Lewis Hamilton into the barriers at the Hockenheimring. Putting in the laps during qualifying for the German GP, the British racer's right front brake disc failed, slamming him into the barriers with a 30G impact. As a result of the accident, Mercedes switched Hamilton's W05 from Brembo to Carbone Industrie for the 67-lap race. A spokesman for Brembo told Autosport: "We are calm because of the fact that it was a single episode and because we will discover the causes which determined the issue.
