Vettel: Red Bull still far from Mercedes

Red Bull/Getty Images Sebastian Vettel has admitted that Red Bull is still some way off of championship leaders Mercedes, despite briefly challenging for pole position at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Vettel edged ahead of Nico Rosberg during the closing moments of Q3 before the championship leader responded and claimed pole by almost half a second. "After Q2 I thought if we got everything right then we might have been closer to the Mercedes at the end than we were," he said. "Nico’s lap was very strong and it’s difficult to match them.
