Lotterer replaces Kobayashi

André Lotterer will be given the chance to make his torrid debut in Formula 1 at this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix. The German driver replaces the team's Japanese driver, Kamui Kobayashi who still remains with the Caterham Group. The 32-year-old German racing driver was born in Duisburg. He became famous in sportscar racing, although he also earned praise in single seater series. In 2002 he contested in the last round of Cart series where he finished in 12th place in Mexico. From next year onwards he started his long career in the Japanese Formula Nippon series.
