Haas F1 run with new-spec Ferrari engine from Spanish GP Haas Formula 1 team will run with Ferrari's latest specification power unit from the upcoming Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, Autosport revealed. Ferrari made a vital change in Russian Grand Prix as a result of using three development tokens aimed at improving the engine's combustion. Autosport reported that, following discussions at its factory, Haas F1 is decided that bolting the new unit onto the back of its VF-16. Recently Haas F1 team principal Gunther Steiner revealed that a few aerodynamic changes shall be introduced in Barcelona in the form of a new rear wing.
