Verstappen crashes out of Qualifying
Monaco Grand Prix – Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen returned to earth with a literal bang in Q1 in Monte Carlo. Verstappen, going into his first qualifying session with Red Bull since his win in Spain a fortnight ago, clipped the inside barrier at the exit of the Swimming Pool on a qualifying run during the first part of the hour. The suspension instantly broke, meaning the car slid straight on into the barriers on the exit of the corner. Unhurt, he scrambled out of the car but was immediately out of qualifying.
