British GP to feature four days of track action

The British Grand Prix will feature track action on all four days for the first time, with Formula 2 and GP3 practice sessions set to take place on Thursday. Although it has yet to be formally confirmed, F1 bosses have requested the change in order to open up more space later in the weekend in what is traditionally a very tight schedule. Silverstone says that once the new timetable is finalised it will put special Thursday tickets on sale, while allowing access for all weekend ticket holders.
