FIA examines Vettel-Lewis clash

F1's governing body has confirmed it is looking into Sebastian Vettel's swerve into Lewis Hamilton in the Azerbaijan GP to decide whether any further action is warranted. The FIA said in a statement issued on Wednesday it will examine the incident on Monday July 3, with a statement regarding the outcome to be made available ahead of the Austrian GP on July 7-9. Vettel was handed a 10-second stop-and-go penalty and three penalty points on his licence by race stewards in Baku, but the FIA had the option to open a further investigation into the incident.
