Verstappen fastest despite late scare in Singapore FP3

Max Verstappen charged to the top of the timesheets in final Formula 1 practice for the Singapore Grand Prix on Saturday evening, continuing Red Bull's sweep of the race weekend so far despite suffering a late issue. After seeing teammate Daniel Ricciardo lead both FP1 and FP2 on Friday in Singapore, Verstappen rose to the head of the field in FP3 with a fastest lap time of 1:41.829, set in the final 10 minutes of the session. The lap was enough to give Verstappen P1 by just 0.072 seconds, edging out Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel, who bounced back from a difficult Friday to finish second.
