Toro Rosso gets Ferrari-style vented wing mirrors

Toro Rosso has followed in the development footsteps of Ferrari and become the second team to add vented wing mirrors to its car ahead of the British Grand Prix. The unique concept was first seen on Ferrari's SF71H, which allows the team to channel the air through the mirrors and into an opening on the horizontal surface of the sidepods, allowing it to run smaller vertical inlets. The vents also reduce the negative airflow of the mirrors, as the flat surface spoils and disrupts critical airflow running over the sidepod.
