Brendon Hartley takes on new PU components, only 17 grid starters

Honda has elected to fit new power unit parts to Brendon Hartley’s Toro Rosso ahead of Formula 1’s British Grand Prix. Hartley suffered a suspension failure during Saturday morning’s final practice session and was pitched into a heavy crash, with the resultant damage leaving him out of qualifying. Hartley will start the 52-lap race from the pit lane and Honda has opted to undertake precautionary changes, fitting a sixth Internal Combustion Engine and fifth MGU-K of the season, ostensibly giving the New Zealander a larger pool of components. “We didn't find any considerable damage trackside yesterday, however we'll check further details back in Sakura,”...
