Germany Points Finish A Good Boost For Marcus Ericsson

Marcus Ericsson said that the German Grand Prix was “a big challenge” but was satisfied to be back in the points for the second time in three races. The Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team driver had had a trip through the gravel during qualifying on Saturday but made no mistake on Sunday as he finished ninth after managing the tyres as the rain fell at the Hockenheimring. “It is very satisfying to be back in the points. It was a difficult race, especially in terms of managing the tyres. “We had a long first stint on soft tyres. After the rain started, together with the team, we decided to keep calm and stay out.” The rain caught many drivers out with Sebastian Vettel causing a safety car...
