George Russell tops final day of testing for Mercedes

Mercedes junior driver George Russell finished top of the timing sheets on the final day of the post-Hungarian Grand Prix test with a 1:15.575s on hypersoft tyres. The Formula 2 championship leader finished ahead of Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen in second and Jake Dennis of Red Bull in third. Russell's time was the fastest of the two-day test ahead of Antonio Giovinazzi who was on duty for both Ferrari and Sauber, finishing in fourth for the latter team on the final day of the test having topped day one in the Ferrari. Force India had a turbulent day, Nikita Mazepin was on duty for them but was the cause of two stoppages, one before and one after lunch as the VJM11 suffered from reliability...
