Sauber backs up Leclerc: Magnussen move "f*cking dangerous"
Sauber team principal Fred Vasseur has backed up his driver Charles Leclerc when talking about the rookie's collision with Haas F1's Kevin Magnussen, saying the Dane's manoeuvre was "f*cking dangerous". When Leclerc tried to move past Magnussen on the straight in the opening stage of the race, Magnussen moved over to defend, giving Leclerc no time to react, causing the Monegasque to drive into the back of the Haas. K-Mag ended up with a puncture and a damaged floor, which eventually forced him to retire, while Leclerc needed a new nose and also retired about 30 laps later.
