Ferrari to roll out new spec engine ahead of schedule

Spanish Grand Prix – Ferrari have confirmed that they will use a new specification power unit from this weekend on, having brought forward its planned introduction. Ferrari begin the European leg of this year's championship on the back foot. Having been pre-season favourites to start the year with the quickest car, Mercedes instead have taken four consecutive 1-2 finishes and dominate both championships. In an effort to redress the balance, Ferrari are introducing updates for the Spanish round. Following on from their aero upgrades for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix last time out, they will also be bringing a new engine specification and their fluid supplier Shell has also been pulling...
