Reduced testing days puts Formula 1 teams under pressure

The pre-season testing for the FIA Formula 1 2020 season starts in Barcelona, Spain today (February 19, 2020). The first test will be spread over three days. This is followed by a second test a week later staring on 26th February, 2020. There are only six days of winter testing for this season. The Formula 1 teams normally have eight days of testing spread over two tests. The reduction in testing days by 25% puts the teams under pressure. The teams have to hit the track running from the first day. The teams cannot afford any loss of track time due to glitches in their new challengers because of the reduced testing days.
