Sixth current driver signs up for Virtual Vietnam GP

Alfa Romeo Racing has confirmed that Antonio Giovinazzi will represent the team at Sunday’s Virtual Vietnam Grand Prix. Formula 1 has launched a series of events to replace postponed or cancelled grands prix amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Two 2020 F1 drivers – Lando Norris and Nicholas Latifi – signed up for the opening round in Bahrain. On Thursday it was confirmed that two-time race winner Charles Leclerc, Alexander Albon and George Russell will participate in Sunday’s event. Giovinazzi, 26, made his Formula 1 debut in 2017 and last year competed for Alfa Romeo in his first full season. Giovinazzi will line up alongside Sky Sports F1 pundit and three-time race winner...
