Formula E extends its contract with Rome

The ABB FIA Formula E Championship is set to continue staging a race in Rome for a further five seasons after the Rome City Council agreed to host en E-Prix in the Italian capital. The new agreement which will see Formula E visit Rome unti at least 2025 has been signed by the Rome City Council, and it is subject to approval of the FIA World Motor Sport Council. Rome has staged two electric races so far with making its debut in 2018. Sam Bird became the first driver to win on the Circuito Cittadino dell’EUR in front of Lucas di Grassi and André Lotterer.
