In 2019 it was common for drivers to wait for each other to get a tow on the long straights of Monza. No more traffic jams Last season qualifying had become a mockery for drivers who were waiting for someone else to tow them. In Q3 a number of drivers were even too late at the start of the race to start another lap. So this year is coming to an end. A statement from the FIA states that drivers must drive a minimum time at their outlap. Drivers who lap slower than 1:43,000 will be reported to the stewards.
