Romain Grosjean has declared the halo the 'greatest thing we brought to Formula 1' after it saved his life following a horrific opening lap crash in the Bahrain Grand Prix. Grosjean, who is chairman of the Grand Prix Drivers' Association (GPDA), was originally against the introduction of the head protection device, claiming it 'has no place in F1'.
