‘Rookie' Ricciardo needs aid from MCL35M updates

Daniel Ricciardo said he is working with the McLaren team to create the upgrades that will bring him up to speed in the MCL35M. The Aussie has joined McLaren with the view of competing for championships in the coming years, but so far he is struggling to perform at the level of team-mate Lando Norris. The Imola race weekend very much belonged to Norris as he made himself a shock pole contender, while on Sunday Ricciardo was asked to move aside for Norris who proceeded to disappear up the road and claim a second podium finish of his career.
