Sunday's summary: Verstappen beats Hamilton, Pérez shows class

The French Grand Prix was a very exciting race, especially up front. Where Max Verstappen was the favourite from pole position to take the victory, the Dutchman had to work hard to beat his competitor Lewis Hamilton. The Red Bull Racing driver saw Hamilton go past him at the first corner, forcing him to spend the rest of the race in pursuit. His team then decided to use a different strategy to Mercedes and call Verstappen in earlier. It ultimately had an effect on the result, as Verstappen raced towards Hamilton at the end of the race.
