Horner wants emotion back with new engines: "No thought was given to that".
In 2025 the new engine regulations for Formula 1 will come into force. From that year Red Bull will also start developing its own engines. Red Bull team boss Christian Horner wants the new engines to be loud and entertaining for the fans. Golden opportunity for Formula 1 Horner thinks Formula 1 has a golden opportunity with the introduction of the new engines. According to him, the current engines are too expensive and complicated and also make too little noise. The fans have long complained about the lack of sound from the screaming V10 and V8 engines.
