Today, exactly 55 years ago, F1 lost one of its most talented drivers. On September. 5, 1970, Jochen Rindt died during practice for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. The Austrian would posthumously win the world championship title, a unique and tragic record that is still unmatched.
