Minardi boss Paul Stoddart wants to sign Franck Montagny for 2005, according to reports.

Stoddart has set his sights on the Renault tester as he considers his driver options for 2005.

Any deal could even be financed by Renault, who are keen to see the young Frenchman graduate to a race drive.
