nichosnz 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2002 Is bringing the F2001 to Melbourne a mistake, well we won't know for sure until Sunday late afternoon. But after Friday it doesn't look like a bad choise, in the first session the slowest Ferrari was about 2.5sec up on third and in the second it was 1sec. And Ferrari think the F2002 will be even faster.
daz 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2002 I definitely don't think it was a bad choice. At least they've got reliability on their side and I personally don't think that it will be far off the pace at the front. We'll only really see come Saturday qualifying and the race but my moneys on a Ferrari 1-2 to start off the season.

jagman 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2002 I guess we will see tomorrow, but Michael was a second a lap faster here today than he was last year... Might make it hard for Minardi to qualify tomorrow....
