I agree, JPM was cleary ahead, schueys wing hit him just beind his frint wheel and in the replay that I saw, Montoya does not veer right, it is in fact Schuey who veers left.

Also, what was up with MS's start, imagine if he clipped JPM and they both crashed they would have 20 cars belting down on them causing one all mighty pile up.  I find it funny that MS always talks about being senisible at the start of a race, then he does this type of thing.

Also, why on earth did JPM get a 'drive through' penalty?  utter, utter stupidity.  The FIA has no consistancy and I am losing faith in the Bernie and Max show....

I'd say it was 70/30 Montoya's fault. It should be remembered the Schumie had pole and got to the corner first on the racing line. Montoya was the one who decided he was going round on the outside off the racing line.... However I do feel that it should have being called yet another racing incident unfortunately and I do agree with  you guys that the penalty imposed was ridiculous.

we are all so quick to blame. did you guys see something i didnt?????? from my tv coverage i have real trouble seeing whose if anyones fault it was.

i hope they do it every race. shame it didnt work out for rubens.

were either of them at fault???????

jag you have got it there. i must agree however much i want to blame montoya, but im happy he did it. ms does bitch about it and then at the start he serves right over and tries to cut was it montoya off. maybe montoya should just start and go straight the other way!!!!! that would sort ms out.

i guess the penalty was to even it up again. ms had damage so they sent montoya in to make it even i guess they saw it as 50/50.

be happy we are gonna have some good car races this year!!!!

From the way I saw it Montoya gave MS no room at all on his right, and was not far enough ahead (almost exactly side-by-side) to expect MS to back off and fall in behind.

And in Ted's interview with Patrick Head at the end of the race, the impression I got from PH's reply was that he thought Montoya was at fault, but the penalty was too harsh.

Reubens/Ralf, Michael/Juan Pablo have been accused of causing first corner accidents already this year who will it be in Brazil...  Sato/Bernoldi is my pick

ok it doesn't matter to me who was ahead really but the poblem was ms went in to fast and understeeredit juan so it had to off been ms's fault i mean come on he should know how fast he should go into that corner he is a so called champion. and he wasn't on the racingline nither of em were really but juan as closer!!!!!!!

I think it's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.

JPM didn't leave him much room, but Michael was going into it very fast and seemed to oversteered.

What upsets me is Michael taking Jenson's podium place :(
