Was Ayrton looking down smiling

Rubens has said that he always looked up to Ayrton, and that Aryton was always there for him in his first year and a bit in F1. So was The Great Ayrton Senna looking down smiling on this occasion, I like to think that he was.

Rubens really deserved that win yesterday, he's done himself proud.

I really enjoyed those first few laps in particular, from both the Ferrari drivers. Michael was very good, Rubens was even better.

I'm not so sure, yeah he deserved the win, but no he wasn't the quickest guy out there. I still don't feel he won that race outright, i feel he was gifted it a bit by the team. How was it possible that Michael could catch him so quick then just sit there behind him.

I'm going to right an article on it so i won't say too much, but i wasn't entirely happy with the win. It seemed too much like a gift.

What is the likleyhood that MS would have made a pass on RB stick. He may be the better of the two, but the top drivers have trouble passing tailenders without the help of blue flags, even at so called passing places. This must be amazingly more difficult when the person you are trying to pass has (almost) the identical machine under them.

I think Michael could have got past he caught up from 10 seconds behind in no time, then blatantly just sat their for like 10-15 laps. Besides all he would have need to do would have been to get alongside then Barrichello would have to give the corner too him, as they wouldn't want to take eachother out.

Yeah, you bet Senna was smilin'. Wonder what he'd have done if he was in Reubens place last race.

I'd like to think that he'd have told them off. Any opinions?

Not sure what he would have said in the car, but I'm quite sure he would have ignored the call.

There is no way Ayrton would have moved over. He would have never signed the type of contract Rubens did. He would have never been in such a position. If anything, it would be Michael moving over for him, which would also not happen, as Ayrton would be ahead anyway, 99 times out of 100.

If Ayrton were still alive today, Michael would have been exposed years ago. Very little of his success would have come to pass. Unfortunately, in a way, he can thank Ayrton for most of the horseshoes which have been firmly implanted in his buttocks for the past 6 or so years.
