Belgium 2002, corner 1 lap 1, I only noticed one contact there this time involving 3 cars but everyone kept going. That doesn't happen often.

It doesnt happen often at all. Probably the most memorable is 1998, and then there is also 1999 when Coulthard and Hakkinen touched.

1998 holds a record doesn't it of most cars out in a single incident.

I'm sure it must do. That was destruction on a grand scale... If I remember correctly some drivers couldn't even take the re-start because both cars in their team were destroyed in the 1st corner and the team only had one spare.

Panis (Prost), Barrichello (Stewart), Salo (Arrows) and Rosset (Tyrrell) were the drivers daz. And Hakkinen (McLaren), Wurz (Benetton) and Herbert (Sauber) were out at the 'new' first lap. Eddie Jordan was mighty pleased both his drivers could restart though, as Hill and R Schumacher scored a 1-2.

That race had so much going on that its hard to believe when compared to Spa 2002.

You get that from time to time.

Another thing, yet again this race I heard La Source refered to as the slowest corner in F1, according to Autosports maps it is 40mph yet Lowes and Rasscasse in Monaco are 30mph.

Yea I dont know where they get that, Loews is slower than La Source. You can compare it on video, Loews is a crawling 30-35mph, while La Source is 40-45.

A common place for errors is itv-F1. The most recent is they stated that MS had finally scored 10 in a season after equalling NM on 2 occasions, excuse me but by my counting 1995, 2000 and 2001 is 3.

As a matter of fact yes, they are. Murray is a big part of that whole part of ITV, handling a lot of the website business.

Surely that area (accuracy) is one place that they shoud try not to follow.

There are better sites for accuracy than ITVF1. I really only go to that website to read the features and such..

I quite like their flyaround's of the upcoming track. Their website is stamped on the cover of F1 Racing mag too, this mag is very accurate, an odd mix.

Well they are both owned by ITV, ITV-F1 is the website for the magazine. Odd that they are so different in terms of accuracy. I really like the secret diary of Adrian Newey though, and Not the F1 News
