December 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2002 *GRIN* ltns stands for Long Time, No See! Don't worry about mixing up the genders, I do it all the time! And I'm in Australia, land of the lazy LOL. I still remember back in 95/96 when I had no idea how to 'chat', so I didn't even know how to do a smiley face LOL, but don't worry, people tend to catch on fast. Wasn't overly worried to miss Suzuka... from the sounds of it, it was fairly processional. Like most races this year! :-(
TotalF1 Jens 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Yea, it was not the best of of races except for Sato vs Renault.
nichosnz 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Knowing the reception Sato would get for 6th, I was actually quite pleased when Ralf 'had a slight problem'. Very unlike me, usually whan a car is in front and uncatchable, I tend to hope for driver error, or pit crew error, not reliability. For example in 1999, Germany I think, Mika Hakkinen was entering the pits and as he reached the pit lane speed limit line I said out loud (with 5 whitnesses) 'Hakkinen's fuel hose won't go on' when it happened a few seconds later every one just looked at me. The race was live (no prior knowledge).
TotalF1 Jens 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2002 You know it is the oddest thing when things like that happen. As I was watching Suzuka I was hoping that Kimi could get on the podium, so as the last few laps rolled around I said out loud to my mate who I was watching the race with, 'Ralf's engine will blow.' As a Williams fan he immediately said no way, but was quite bummed/wide eyed when it did happen Sometimes I have the knack for it as well with Monopoly, say I have a hotel and someone needs to throw a 5 to land on it. Before he/she throws I say youre going to roll a five, and so he/she does
nichosnz 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2002 It can be a little spooky sometimes can't it. And it p**ses people off, as if you really did have control over it.
TotalF1 Jens 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2002 Would be nice if I did have control over it, Id have Yoong take the season opener in Melbourne
December 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2002 Naaa I would have had webber take out the melbourne one. First GP and all LOL, would have been a blast for the Aussies and the record books!
TotalF1 Jens 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2002 Of course that would have been smarter, and then have Yoong take the next round at Malaysia
nichosnz 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2002 And Giancarlo would have won a few by now!!

TotalF1 Jens 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2002 Dreaming is fun, isn't it?
nichosnz 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2002 It is great fun at times, as long as you don't confuse dreams with reality!
TotalF1 Jens 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2002 It is fun to think how one little word can completely alter everything. Mika Salo saying no to Ferrari's deal in 96, Bernie saying design to Hermann Tilke and so forth. Even in everyday life its fun to think how different things could be, though it sometimes (often) makes you ask yourself why oh why can't it be that way
nichosnz 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2002 Jacques Villeneuve saying no to McLaren. Mickey Mouse track designs need to be in moderation. I actually liked Sepang until Hockenheim became a copy. What we need are: 9 Drivers Tracks (like Spa, Suzuka) 5 Speed Tracks (like Monza, Old Hockenheim) 2 Mickey Mouse Track (like most of our current ones are) 1 Slow Track (Monaco) play with the numbers a bit to suit yourselves.
